PETRA, Incorporated President Jerry Frank received 2008 tilt-up concrete association achievement
Award Recognizes International 2008 TCA Achievement in Tilt-Up Concrete ConstructionLAS VEGAS, Nev. January 24, 2008 – Jerry Frank of Boise, Idaho, has received International recognition by being awarded the 2008 Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA-a non-profit international organization) Achievement Award for the Outstanding Example of Tilt-Up Concrete Construction for the PETRA, Incorporated Headquarters located in Meridian, ID.
According to TCA, the award honors projects around the world that use site cast Tilt-Up concrete to introduce new building types, advanced industry technology and provide solutions to building programs. Frank was selected by a panel of judges that represent the membership categories for TCA and the award was presented at the World of Concrete event held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on January 24, 2008.
In 2006, Frank began the creation of the 18,000 square ft. building and was completed in April 2007. With stunning architectural details and aesthetically unique finishes throughout, PETRA's corporate headquarters is a showcase of design, processes and finish materials that PETRA is able to offer to its clients. This isn't the first time this building has been recognized. In 2007, Sprague Solutions was awarded by the American Institute of Designers (ASID) Intermountain Chapter for the interior design of the PETRA Headquarters
